As with our 2016 vintage, I wanted to ensure this wine wasn't overly heavy on the oak. We used the same method as before blending two-thirds stainless steel aged wine with one third aged in new French oak. The result is a smooth, tropical Chardonnay which doesn't overpower the palate with oak.
